White Sheets

I bought some white sheets the other day. There is something about white sheets that I love! I have never owned white sheets and with kids they are highly impractical but I bought them as we were having family pictures taken in our jammies on our bed and I wanted our bed to look clean and crisp. The white sheets feel luxurious to me. I feel like I am sleeping in a high end hotel room bed. They feel really clean and crisp. They make me feel rich. So I suggest that you get your self a set of white sheets...they are wonderful!

We have been super busy lately with preparations for our ward Christmas party. Tanya and I and our committee have been hard at work and tomorrow night is the big night. It is going to be an adult party.....it is going to be so much fun and yet I sort of wish it were a family party with Santa. But grown up time is always welcomed at our house! We are planning on 120 people...we are going to have stuffed chicken breasts in a Cranberry sauce with mashed potatoes and salad and buns. Chocolate cherry cake, trifle and mousse, should be very yummy. So tomorrow will be very busy!!!

We leave on Saturday December 15 for Seattle and start our Christmas vacation. I am so excited to be back home this year for Christmas. Last year we were unable to because I was pregnant with Walker and he came 5 days after Christmas and if you know any thing about my labours you would know that I would never make it home even on an air plane if I was in labour.
I am planning to do all of my Christmas shopping down there, better deals and with our dollar being so strong, it just makes sense. I can't wait to hang out with my my brothers and sisters and my parents and my in law's and my nieces and nephews! I hope every one has a fantastic Christmas for sure!
