The day Walker went for a walk!

So tonight I was up stairs nursing Lila and watching t.v. with my Mom when the door bell rings. We figure it is just Jackson coming home from the park with his friend. But then we hear a ladies voice talking and not Jackson's, so I send my Mom down to check it out....at my door is a lady with Walker. Now 10 minutes earlier I sent Walker down stairs to bug his Dad and figured that is where he was. Instead my little 20 month old decided to open the front door...(some thing he learned last week) and go and find his brother over at the park...across the street at the school. That is where this kind lady found him...in the school parking lot, only wearing a diaper. Fortunately this ladies mother lives on my street and recognized Walker and he was able to some how point her to our house. Kal this whole time was sound a sleep on the couch..he had no idea that Walker had even got out....either did we. 3 adults in this house and Walker still managed to escape! I am pretty sure that he has some wonderful angels looking out for him as he was not hit by a car as he crossed the street and he made it home safe and sound. We now have a door handle cover that is kid proof on our front door...hopefully he won't figure it out!
So lets see if I get a call from Social Services!

What a little stinker. I suppose that means he is all grown up if he's going on adventures solo now. You'll have to watch that little one. That picture you posted of him is darling. Those eyes!

Whoa...one of my worst nightmares when my kids were little. I'm so glad it turned out okay.

That is crazy! Do you remember when Jackson and Kala did that and went running down the busy road? Poor you! I am so glad he is okay!

Don't you just love those humbling moments! They make you feel like the best mom ever - it's great when you can share the blame with someone else! I'm glad he's safe! How's three going?
