The last couple of weeks have been rather eventful and then not so much at the same time. It seems that we will have 1 or 2 days of craziness and then nothing for a while.
On Friday April 11, 2008 we woke up to find that the car we have been borrowing from one of Kal's co-workers had been stolen. Our car parked right behind it was not touched...of course. Kal made the usual phone calls to the police and then to
Lisa(the co worker). We felt awful, especially as we were taking the car back right away because now we have our van. Also that day I had to take the van in to get the throttle sensor replaced ( not sure if that is exactly what it was, but that is how I understood it to be). So Kal took the Malibu into work and I was going to relax the with the boys the rest of the day. Well Walker apparently had other plans. He was playing on the kitchen chairs yet again and tipped one over and caught his middle finger in between the floor and the chair and split it open. So now with a screaming baby and blood all over the place I call Kal and ask him to come and get us so that we could go to the hospital for stitches and to see if he broke it as well. Kal of course freaks out just a little and asked me if I should call an ambulance and I reassured him that no, Walker would be ok and just to come home. I am sure Kal made it home in record time and took us to the hospital and took Jackson with him to work as my two boys in the ER are not a good combination at all, one was hard enough! Fortunately his finger was not broken and they were able to glue his cut together and so after only 2 hours were able to go home...not so bad for a Friday and a fairly minor injury. It tried to take a picture of Walker's finger but he would not cooperate and so I gave up. But is was smooshed and rather ugly looking. It is healing great, though it is still rather sensitive and when he bangs it he definitely lets you know. This was Walker's second time to the ER in a year.....he is starting to take after my Father...which is rather scary!
The police did find our friends car the next day, it was totally trashed and was a complete right off. Lisa and Russ (the owners) were actually happy since they were going to sell it and they probably got more for it than if they had sold it privately. We still feel terrible about the whole thing, but we are glad it has worked out.
So other than that we are now onto not much happening again. I have posted some pictures of my ultra sound and the boy's. I am now almost 23 weeks pregnant and feeling great, except for my sciatic nerves and hips, but I am not throwing up so I try not to complain too much.

So sorry to hear about Walker's finger. Sure hope he is ok--I hate seeing my kids in that kind of pain, you always feel so awful for them. Glad to hear you are feeling so good in your pregnancy and that everyone is doing well. I wish who ever stole our car a month ago trashed it so it would have been a write off :) But I hate the feeling that comes along with someone stealing something of yours-you really feel violated.
AW those boys! Do you know if its a girl or boy? Thanks for the notes on my blog... you are so funny! As if I don't already have enough to do. I often wonder if everyone else is as busy as me or if I am just being a whimp. I am so exhausted and am wondering if it is 'bad' to be asked to be released from a calling.
Aaaaawwww Walker's finger sounds NASTY!!!! And totally bad about the car - but good that it worked out! Glad to hear you are feeling pretty good! I am TOTALLY on the count down now!

Yikes, you are going to have to calm those good times down because you are just getting way over your share.
Love the pictures of all your kids. It's nice to hear this pregnancy is treating you well.
Finally catching up on blogs! Although I enjoy talking to you on the phone immensely - I also love to see pictures of your kids! Including the one currently in gestation! I love Jackson's outfits...
