I am sorry to say that I can't download any pictures right now as I am having "issues" with downloading them..but as soon as I can I will have them on here.
On Wednesday afternoon my Dr. stripped my membranes and basically told me to go walk and rest, have a light meal and that he would probably see me early in the morning. So I did just that and at about 8:30 pm or so I started to notice some "light" contractions, but nothing to call home about. At about 11:45pm they all of a sudden got hard and were coming very quick like every 2 minutes, so I woke up Kal up and we left for the hospital at about 12:30am.....15 minutes later we were at the hospital and
getting admitted in to labour and delivery. My contractions were coming now like every minute..lasting like 30 seconds so basically I had about 30 seconds in between...not much of a break! The nurse checked me and I was 6 cm almost 7 cm, so she called my Dr. and told him to rush. From there things get fast and furious. I was not sure the Dr. would make it as I started feeling like I needed to push and he was not there yet, but he did indeed make it and checked me and I was 8-9 cm and so he broke my water at 1:13 am and Lila was born at 1:16 am. Nice a quick....she hurt like crazy...more than my boys, but she was the quickest!
August 21, 2008 @ 1:16 am Lila Star was born. She weighed 7 lbs and 11 oz and was 19 3/4 inches long and has blond hair.
We named her Lila after my grandmother and Star is my middle name.
Jackson is totally smitten with her and Walker seems to like her for now... We feel so blessed and we are so excited at having a little girl...let the shopping begin!
