Pumpkin Patch

Over the Thanksgiving Weekend Kal and I took the boys to visit all our parents and siblings. It was quick, though we were gone five days..worked out to be about a day and a half with each. On the Saturday Kal had to work until 6pm so we picked him up and drove on down to his brother Greg's place in Chilliwack and spent the night. Dinner was the next day, Brandi (my SIL) and I spent the morning getting ready for dinner which was at their place this year. I made 3 pies, two pumpkin and one apple..they were lovely, if I do say so my self!
That night we headed down to Kal's parent's in White Rock and had a nice visit. Greg and Brandi came down with their kids and we all went bowling, which was super fun. All the grand kids beat Grandpa, which they thought was great. Jackson is very funny to watch as he literally runs down the lane and then throws his ball. It usually hits the lane so hard that it looses most of it momentum before it even has a chance to get half way down the lane. The next morning we drove down to Issaquah to visit my Mom and Scott and My Dad and Pam. We only saw my Dad and Pam for about an hour and a half as they were headed out on a business trip to Alaska, but it was sure nice to visit with them. They also were able to give us and old printer and portable DVD player as both of ours were broken..thank you so much, with money rather tight right now it was so wonderful to not have to go and buy new ones!
My Mom and I took the boys to a pumpkin patch on the Wednesday to pick out a pumpkin. Jackson searched and searched for the perfect one..he called it the "Giant", very funny to watch him trying to find the best one out in the patch. Walker just had fun walking around and picking up what every he could lift. Jackson is actually grossed out by taking the guts out of the pumpkin, he literally will gag, so he drew on it with markers instead.
Enjoy the pictures!

This patch was huge.....they also grew gourds of all kinds.
