Happy Halloween!
What a fun Halloween we had this year! It was warm, there was no snow...a little rain, but no snow! The boys had a blast and I loved watching them race to each house on our street. We started off going to the mall. Kal had to work until 9pm so he was going to miss out on seeing the boys and Lila dressed up. They do hand out candy at the mall and so we got there by 3pm, which was the start time and within 30 minutes I thought every child in Kamloops was at the mall. Aberdeen mall is not a very big mall and so when you add a couple hundred children and parents you get total chaos! What a zoo, I was so glad to get out of there but the boys had fun and they got some fun treats. We then grabbed some dinner..aka McDonald's...and again every one in Kamloops was there too, and apparently other parents like me feed their kids crap and are OK with it! Then off to trick or treat down our street. My neighbour watched Lila so I could relax and have fun with the boys and we had a great time. Because we live in a strata complex all our houses are in a row and our street is not a main street so it is awesome to trick or treat down.
Walker was hilarious! He went into every ones house, kissed every ones dog, pushed his way up to the front and fell a bunch of times. When his bag got too heavy he would drag it and heaven forbid I try and carry it for him. He laughed and was happy the whole time, he even would say Happy Halloween or Trick or Treat in his own little way..too cute! Jackson was so excited for Halloween to come, he wore his costume to school that day and had lots of fun with his class. The day before Halloween he went to a party at his friend Taylor's house and had a great time with lots of friends from school. Lila just kicks back and goes along with every thing. She is such a good little baby, always happy and content. She wore a t-shirt her Grandma Bartel bought for her that says "My first Halloween" she only wore it for about an hour as she pooped and it was all up her back and all over her clothes!
So here are some pictures of my little Halloweeners!

How fun!! Sounds like your boys had a blast. Love their costumes too.
Wow, great costume, Jackson!
And I have to say, Lila fits right in with the Bartel crowd. I think in that first picture she looks a lot like Kal.
We miss you, we miss you! Come to Texas!!! (ps next time you come for Beauticontrol, you'd better make sure and tell me so we can hang out!!!)
Too cute! I agree with Emily, she does look like Kal in that picture :) The boys look so happy and like they were having so much fun. We trick or treated with Caryn and her kids (it has become a tradition) but I didn't get any pictures!?! Crazy mom! She got a bunch though so I will just still them from her. LOL :)
Glad to hear that you had such a good Thanksgiving. Loved the pictures! I was a little confused though...I had no idea y'all had Thanksgiving so early. I sure wish it was in October here! Does that mean you have Black Friday early too? That would be nice.
Next time you're going to Seattle, let me know. I would gladly drive up to see you all. It doesn't sound like you were in town long this last time but hopefully next time.
They look so cute! I had to laugh because as everyone said, your kids all have very similar features! We missed hanging out with you this year too! You didn't miss much at the mall though cause Market mall didn't let the store hand out candy and there were only four booths that gave them a candy each and had a little activity. It was very disapointing. The girls made a mask and then we headed to Northland in desperation. Now that was a blast! All the stores had candy and they were so excited to see the girls. It wasn't too busy at the either. I am sure later it was slammed though. I am glad to hear you guys had a blast too!
HEY YOU! So good to hear from you! I've often wondered whatever happened to you guys, among others, but I am HORRIBLE at staying in touch. Watch out, I'll be calling...;)
