I need to Clarify

So in my last post I got on my little soap box and said what I needed to say but I realized that I came off as anti buying any thing for my kids and really what I wanted to say is I want to simplify. I love the feeling I get from giving some thing to my children that they love. I love to see the joy and the excitement on their faces, but I do not want to create a sense of entitlement in my children.

I want to go back to basics.

I want to enjoy life by living it fully, not by having things to make me happy.

Things can be wonderful, but in the end they are just things.
