Jackson's 6th Birthday

Jackson is now 6 years old!!!
His birthday is on January 3, but we waited and had his birthday party once school was back in from Christmas break, on January 10 we had a bowling party for him. The night before he had his good buddy Dylan over for a sleep over. They had a great time playing and laughing and being typical boys.

Jackson, Dylan, and Walker

It is true Jackson still loves Batman, I think we are going on 3 years now?!!
So here is the cake I made him, certainly not my best, but the kids did not care.

I can't believe that he is 6 already!

Kal was able to come to the party which was so nice, all he could do was sit there, but we were glad he could come. He was actually still in the hospital for both Jackson's and Walker's birthdays. He was sure bummed about that so it was great that he could come to the party!
Lila slept almost the entire birthday...gee do you think she is used to noise?

Jackson and his buddies!
We all had a great time and Jackson is now planning his next birthday. We did not bring Walker with us, so he spent the day with our favourite baby sitter, Rebecca. He had a great time and loved getting all the attention!

Ohhh Amanda- I love telling Brett every time you have a new child. He gets to excited and giddy for you. I REALLY can't believe Jackson is already 6 years old!! I mean...REALLY?! Wow- we've been in contact for quite sometime huh?
You are such a beautiful mama and that angel baby of yours is breathtaking.
I have to tell you that I made Nanaimo Bars over Christmas and ohhhhh they were soooooo dang good!!! HOly cow seriously?? A dessert can be that good? Do you like them? Okay I talked myself into it- I'm going to make them tomorrow...no joke.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO JACKSON!

And and thank you for leaving me that sweet message about your sister. I think I remember you telling me about that before. Bless your families hearts...what a misery and loss.

Amanda,
My friend Susie knows your friend who lost her daughter Emily (so do a lot of my San Antonio friends, too, I'm sure) Anyway, she wrote a little bit about the funeral, thought you might want to read it

First, that cake is so fun.
Second, oh my goodness, Walker's eye!
Thirdly, it's been a while. Wanna know how I figured that out? I see this Amanda chick commenting on my blog, so I go to see who she is and what she's about. I was floored when I saw your picture on the profile.

Shame on us for not keeping in touch better.

Hope things are well for your little family.
