On Sunday January 4, 2008 while I was feeding Lila, Walker decided to take advantage of me being tied up and climb onto the counter using the oven door as a stool. He does this often and so I was rather annoyed when I asked him to get down. Of course he did not listen as I am sure he was thinking, "What are you going to do about it Mom?" so he climbed over to the sink and fell off the counter hitting his eye on the corner of the oven door. I did not see him fall, just heard it and it did not sound unusual, he didn't even cry that blood curdling cry that you would think he would. As he started to walk over to me I realized that he had actually really hurt him self and so off to the ER we went. Now what is kind of comical ( well that is how I am choosing to think about it) is that Kal was also at the hospital in surgery while I spent the day in the ER. He called me on my cell when we was all recovered and asked me where I was and I told him the story. Needless to say we did not leave the ER until 9pm that night so I quickly went up and saw Kal and then we went home to get some sleep. A little girl I watch is so funny and today she was over and said." I am scared of Walkers broken eye" I thought it was cute, hence the title of my entry. Also on Saturday night I was walking down the stairs carrying Lila and I stepped on Jackson's boot, rolled my ankle and fell on the floor. Lila was oblivious to the issue, I was down on the floor in major pain and Jackson and Walker were trying to figure out if I was ok. I actually could also see the humour in this situation so I started to laugh between my groans, the boys thought I was joking so they kept pulling at my foot...which hurt so bad. So I am now limping. They say bad things happen in 3's...well this better be it!

Oh man!! Amanda!!! What is going on? Life is going to be sooo easy after all this stuff is over (fingers crossed). This injury looks so familiar! Do you remember when that happened to Jade in nursery? Ahhhhh, accident prone indeed:) Is it always the second one? I hope he keeps thinking it's cool and that it goes away soon. Good times:)
Oh, and I forgot to mention. I am so sorry about your ankle!!! I wonder where he gets it from:)
