It seems that allot of my friends now have very cute blog backgrounds...I have tried to figure out how to get something different and cute but I seem to lack the ability to figure it out. Maybe it is pregnancy brain or just being blonde....could any of you help me out?

Yes, that is where I got my background, and they have directions on the right side panel.

Pyzam has tons too, so you can check them out there as well. If all else fails you can google blog backgrounds and have tons of great sites that offer free backgrounds. Have fun checking them out and finding one you like. All sites are pretty user friendly and will walk you through the copy and paste steps to getting it on your page.
it might just be me not being very computer savvy, but when I got my background at Pyzam, it didn't keep anything that I'd added besides my old posts, so I ended up having to redo my lists and widgets and stuff. But I think it was worth it :)
